As an Assistant Community Manager at our 195 unit Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) community in Buffalo, NY, you will play a vital role in supporting our properties and teams. This position is not just about managing day-to-day operations; it’s about making a meaningful impact in the lives of residents by providing affordable housing to those who need it most. You will represent our organization to residents, employees, and agency partners, ensuring that our community thrives and meets its financial targets and compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the management of property operations, supporting the leasing team, and conducting leasing and move-in activities as needed. You will also manage the re-certification process, ensuring that it is completed accurately and on time. Conducting unit inspections to ensure compliance with applicable program standards will be a key part of your role, as will utilizing the property management system to oversee all resident transactions. You will be responsible for issuing and delivering resident notices, collecting rents, and overseeing building staff as the manager-on-duty.
