About the position

The Assistant Community Manager at Sparrow Partners plays a crucial role in supporting the management and daily operations of a 55+ Active Adult community. This position involves assisting the Community Manager in various tasks, ensuring high community member satisfaction, and maintaining operational standards. The role is centered around building relationships with community members and executing programs that enhance their living experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager with all phases of on-site operations including rent collection, invoice payments, and budget management.
• Develop strong personal relationships with community members and maintain high expectations for community upkeep.
• Use YARDI to monitor apartment availability and manage community member data.
• Achieve high community member satisfaction by providing exemplary service and executing the Lifestyle & Engagement program.
• Conduct community tours and promote the Sparrow lifestyle to prospective members.
• Document and respond to all leads in a timely manner, including personal follow-ups.
• Process applications and prepare leases and move-in packages for new community members.
• Execute activities in support of the community's lease renewal program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 3+ years professional management experience, preferably in multifamily housing or hospitality.
• Experience maintaining financial records and budget management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Effective communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and other regulations governing multi-family housing operations.
• General knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations.
