About the position

As an Assistant Community Manager at Hawthorne Residential Partners, you will play a vital role in the management and operation of our apartment communities. Working closely with the Community Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance to fellow employees, ensuring that the community runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from administrative processes to leasing activities, making you a key resource and source of knowledge within the community. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing payment collection processes and ensuring that lease administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also contribute to the leasing process by conducting tours and responding to leads via email and phone calls. Achieving occupancy expectations through effective leasing and renewals will be a critical part of your role. In the absence of the Community Manager, you will lead the team, creating a motivating and positive work environment that fosters optimal performance. Your daily activities will include setting goals, prioritizing work, and demonstrating care for the physical assets of the community by maintaining clean and well-kept grounds, amenities, and office spaces. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the payment collection processes
  • Ensure lease administration is completed in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner
  • Contribute to the leasing process through tours and responding to email and phone call leads

  • Effectively lead the team in the absence of the Community Manager

  • Demonstrate daily care for the physical asset by ensuring grounds, amenities, and office are clean, free of debris, and immaculately maintained

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of property management experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
