In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of the community. This includes managing resident relations, addressing maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations. You will also assist in financial tasks such as budget preparation and monthly reporting, which are crucial for maintaining the community's financial health. Your ability to work in a high-energy environment and your previous experience in property management will be key to your success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Community Manager in daily operations of the property.
  • Manage resident relations and address maintenance requests.
  • Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations.
  • Assist in financial tasks such as budget preparation and monthly reporting.
  • Optimize net operating income and carry out ownership objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
  • Understanding of maintenance operations and landlord-tenant law.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and budget preparation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid California Driver's License and up-to-date car insurance.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Yardi Voyager software.
