About the position

Jefferson Apartment Group is a full-service real estate firm specializing in multifamily and mixed-use real estate investments through our acquisition, development, construction, and property management services. We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our team at Sea Isle, a four-story multi-family community featuring 356 apartments with 1, 2, and 3 bedroom floorplans that include upscale features such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, custom cabinetry, and alarm systems. The Assistant Community Manager's role will be to support the Community Manager in all phases of on-site operations, while assuming the responsibility of bookkeeping, renewal management, and customer service. The Assistant Community Manager will ensure that collection procedures are followed and that property bad debt is maintained below budgeted guidelines. This role will lead and manage the on-site team while staying focused on leasing and renewal goals. Providing superior, timely, and right-the-first-time customer service is essential. The Assistant Community Manager will actively manage social media postings to the property's blog, Twitter, and Facebook, and proactively manage all concerns escalated to management. Additionally, this position will develop and implement new strategies and programs to maximize long-term residency, plan and host resident events within budgeted guidelines, and perform regular inspections to ensure property maintenance standards are met. Adherence to and implementation of company policies is also a critical function of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' property management experience required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • RealPage/Onesite experience preferred.
