About the position

The Assistant Consortium Director for the CUNY Fatherhood Academy is responsible for leading the program's strategic planning and goal attainment, focusing on promoting responsible parenting and economic stability for young fathers. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, managing program development, and ensuring effective communication and reporting on program outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate overall consortium strategic planning and goal attainment.
  • Provide ongoing program and technical assistance to partner colleges through regular team meetings and engagement calls.
  • Serve as a liaison with NYC-Opportunity and the Young Men's Initiative on collaborative programming and outcomes reporting.
  • Research and cultivate relationships with other fatherhood programs and community organizations to promote CFA.
  • Identify and coordinate professional development opportunities for college partners.
  • Prepare consortium reports on programmatic outcomes including enrollment, retention, job placement, and educational achievement.
  • Oversee consortium database management and data quality review in collaboration with the University's Data Analytics team.
  • Monitor, evaluate, document, and report on the consortium budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and four years' relevant experience required.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field area preferred.
  • At least six years of experience in education, training, or workforce development programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and collaborative technologies.
  • Database management skills and experience with website editors and social media tools.
