About the position

The Assistant Construction Project Coordinator at Lee Health plays a crucial role in supporting the System Director of Construction throughout the entire construction project lifecycle. This position involves managing various aspects of project management, including financial tracking, contract management, and compliance with licensure and insurance requirements. The coordinator will also oversee project closeout processes and ensure effective communication and reporting throughout the project.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the System Director of Construction in all aspects of construction project management from inception to completion.
  • Provide project management from conception to closeout on all assigned projects and duties.
  • Perform and manage all comptroller/financial related requirements for all projects including contract tracking, pay applications, reporting, analysis, and early warning notification.
  • Plan review and permit management for all projects from inception to certificate of occupancy.
  • Manage and maintain all licensure and insurance requirements from state to local levels.
  • Manage and maintain all supporting aspects of in-house general contracting services.
  • Manage project closeout and warranty acquisition process.
  • Manage direct material purchase process using technical research and negotiation skills for competitive pricing and reduced spending.
  • Develop, manage and maintain numerous tracking systems and reports.
  • Manage Visa purchase program, visa audits, vehicle maintenance, mileage reimbursement, cell phone reimbursement, timekeeping, etc.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of formal education or equivalent apprentice training.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction Management.
  • Certified Notary Public (preferred).
