About the position

The Assistant Controller at Allbridge will play a crucial role in enhancing the Finance department's operations, ensuring financial integrity, and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. This position involves direct oversight of accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting the VP, Finance/Controller in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounting and back-office processes of the Company, including oversight of Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Sales Tax, and Cash applications functions.
  • Optimize processes and controls to ensure data and financial integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial closes, interim/year-end audits, and regulatory filings.
  • Compile, analyze, and disseminate operating metric dashboards for informed management decisions.
  • Support operations and functional department leadership with special reports and key trend analysis.
  • Monitor real-time variances in key business levers compared to budget objectives.
  • Participate in special projects and compile various reports as needed.
  • Coordinate information provision to external auditors for annual audits.
  • Ensure corporate Income and Sales tax compliance and timely completion of tax returns.
  • Evaluate, manage, and motivate direct reports with a focus on planning and communication.
  • Collaborate with leadership on Operational and Process Improvement Projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of finance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Finance leadership experience in a multi-disciplinary finance organization for a technology, SaaS, IT service, or communications networking company
  • 5+ years of ERP implementation and optimization experience, preferably with NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Solid understanding of ASC 842, ASC 606, and project accounting
  • Prior experience managing finance professionals and leading teams on project/task-based initiatives.
