This full-time role involves preparing financial statements, conducting general ledger reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of accounts
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Support the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks)
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in general ledger reconciliation
• Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with payroll and account reconciliation

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience with GAAP (Preferred)
• Ability to commute to Columbia Station, OH (Preferred)
• Willingness to relocate to Columbia Station, OH before starting work (Required)
