About the position

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our team in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. This role involves overseeing a variety of accounting functions, including managing software systems, handling customer accounts, and auditing. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in the financial health of the company by ensuring compliance with regulations and managing the day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operation of accounting software systems.
  • Handle customer accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform auditing tasks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and other related tasks.
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and other financial matters.
  • Use Concur for travel and expense management.
  • Prepare financial reports using Crystal Reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations.
  • Perform various accounting functions to support the financial health of the organization.
  • Manage the billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must.
  • Knowledge of Concur software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports will be beneficial.
  • Understanding of DCAA regulations is necessary.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is required.
  • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is vital.
  • Skilled in Auditing procedures and practices.
  • Experience in Billing Functions is needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Concur software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports will be beneficial.
