About the position

The Assistant Data Center Technician at bigbyte.cc Corp is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's infrastructure as a service offerings. This role involves performing quality control inspections, maintaining tenant-company relationships, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The technician will also assist with facility security measures and perform various maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and client SLAs.
• Monitor and record electrical, ventilation, and air conditioning consumption to identify areas of concern.
• Assist in maintaining supportive tenant-company relationships with key clients and staff.
• Maintain records and follow a calendar for work completed in an organized manner.
• Keep tools and inventory organized and up to date, and maintain a check-out procedure for tools.
• Strive to conserve energy and resources while meeting customer requirements.
• Assist with facility security measures, including duties of Asset Security Representatives.
• Maintain and repair building interior and exterior finishes, plumbing components, and locking mechanisms.
• Escort and monitor contractors to ensure work is completed accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including special tasks like painting and general maintenance.
