The Assistant Dean of Preclinical Education is administratively responsible for Year I and Year II of the curriculum as well as those components of didactic education that occur in Year III and IV. Oversees and directs academic, administrative, accreditation and financial functions for the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Bradenton Campus program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring recommendations, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance including recognition of employee contributions and taking disciplinary action as appropriate; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and ensuring the development, implementation, scheduling and assessment of the preclinical curriculum.
