About the position

The position at Hood Hargett & Associates involves assisting in the day-to-day operations of a well-established independent insurance agency. The role focuses on administrative tasks that enhance the agency's efficiency and effectiveness, including managing vendor relationships, maintaining compliance, and supporting marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee vendor system access as the Agency Administrator and spearhead platform reviews.
  • Generate essential production reports and ensure licensing compliance with state regulations.
  • Handle a variety of administrative duties, including HR tasks and coordinating event tickets for producers and clients.
  • Lead the implementation of our marketing strategy and communicate the marketing plan to the team.
  • Maintain up-to-date client lists and drive client engagement.
  • Enhance our social media presence, focusing on growth and online reputation management.
  • Develop and execute nurturing strategies and renewal campaigns to improve client retention.
  • Manage lead generation efforts and optimize closing ratios.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and clients.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
