About the position

The Assistant Director of Executive Degree Programs at Loyola University Chicago is responsible for leading recruitment and operations for the Executive MBA and Healthcare Management MBA programs. This role involves engaging with prospective and current students, developing strategies for recruitment and retention, and ensuring a positive educational experience. The Assistant Director will work closely with various stakeholders, including faculty, alumni, and industry groups, to enhance the programs' visibility and success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment and operations for the Executive MBA and Healthcare Management MBA programs.
  • Support the Graduate Program Director in program strategy and operational needs.
  • Engage with prospective and current executive degree students to enhance their educational experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies for recruitment, retention, admissions, and yield management.
  • Plan and lead recruitment events, both online and in-person.
  • Manage a database of prospective student records and track their application status.
  • Establish relationships with alumni, industry groups, and employers to grow enrollment.
  • Interact with current students and faculty to advocate for student needs and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate multi-day new student orientation and maintain student communication sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional units within the university to align efforts.
  • Process tuition awards and work with the Financial Aid Office to ensure proper posting.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors for program delivery.
  • Support the Graduate Program Director in developing curated educational experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or a related field required.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate an organization and engage a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and service-oriented with strong collaborative skills.
  • Experience in marketing and external relations preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office; experience with Slate and PeopleSoft preferred.

  • Experience in higher education administration.
  • Knowledge of cohort-based MBA programs and their unique needs.
