The position requires ensuring a seamless admissions experience, particularly during the first term registration for undergraduate students, and facilitating a smooth transition from Admissions to Student Advocates and the Bridge Language Program. The Assistant Director will also conduct information sessions, presenting to prospective students and their families, and collaborating with various departments across the university to meet enrollment objectives. Communication is a key aspect of this role, as the Assistant Director will initiate and document telephone and email contacts with prospective students and applicants, ensuring personalized communication throughout the admissions process. The position demands outstanding speaking, writing, and listening skills, as well as collaboration with teams in Operations, Marketing, and University Visit Experience Programs. The Assistant Director will be responsible for reviewing application files, recommending candidates for the Admission Committee, and maintaining accurate databases and filing systems. This includes verifying the authenticity of incoming documents, conducting data entry, and evaluating academic credentials for eligibility in international admissions. Additionally, the Assistant Director will develop expertise in financial aid policies and ensure confidentiality in managing student records and communications.
