About the position

The Lift Maintenance Supervisor at Mammoth Mountain is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of ski lifts through proper maintenance and repair. This role emphasizes achieving service standards and performance goals to enhance the guest experience while managing operational and capital budgets related to lift construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of the lifts through correct maintenance and repair.
• Ensure all service standards and precision performance goals are achieved for a good guest experience.
• Manage operational and capital budgets as they apply to lift construction and maintenance.
• Maintain a good working relationship with the State Tramway Board and understand the relevant codes.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety practices on a daily basis.
• Work positively and professionally with all outside departments.
• Adapt to changing demands as required by the company or department.
• Generate, plan, and approve work orders in Ross.
• Generate reports in 'Mammoth Reports'.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Lift Maintenance experience.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage operational and capital budgets for lift construction and maintenance.
• Strong working relationship with the State Tramway Board and understanding of the Code.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and company safety practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
