The Assistant Director of Athletic Equipment Operations for Football is a full-time position located at the Richmond Campus, under the supervision of the University's Head Football Coach and the Director of Football Operations. This role is crucial for the day-to-day management of the football equipment room, ensuring that all equipment needs for the football program are met efficiently and effectively. The individual in this position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of athletic equipment operations related to the football program, which includes managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Assistant Director will also support the overall operations of the athletics department and the university as needed, performing additional duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and the Director of Athletics Equipment Operations. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of relevant experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The role is classified as exempt and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week or more, with the expectation of flexibility to meet the demands of the football program. The Assistant Director will play a vital role in supporting the student-athletes and coaches by ensuring that all equipment is in optimal condition and readily available for practices and games.
