Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Communications

About the position

Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is accepting applications for the Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Communications. This full-time, 12-month position is part of the Athletics Department. The Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Communications oversees the department's external operations, leading efforts in sports information, marketing, promotions, communications, fundraising, sponsorships, and equipment management. This role also manages all home athletic events and Mountaineer Athletic Association (MAA) events and operations. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Assistant Director supports the department's mission, goals, and objectives while assisting in the administration of EOU's NAIA intercollegiate athletics division, which includes 15 varsity sports and recreation programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the department's external operations.
• Lead efforts in sports information, marketing, promotions, communications, fundraising, sponsorships, and equipment management.
• Manage all home athletic events and Mountaineer Athletic Association (MAA) events and operations.
• Support the department's mission, goals, and objectives.
• Assist in the administration of EOU's NAIA intercollegiate athletics division.
