About the position

The Assistant Director of Creative Content will play a vital role in the Upper Valley Nighthawks' creative team during the summer 2025 season. This position focuses on designing and producing engaging content that showcases the team's activities and stories through various media formats, including photography, graphics, and video. The role offers the opportunity to contribute creatively while also managing aspects of the creative team alongside the Director of Creative Content and Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director of Creative Content and Social Media Manager to design and complete content, including photo and graphics, player/coach interview segments, and other visual storytelling throughout the season.
• Assist in the daily management and oversight of the creative team with the Creative Director.
• Contribute your individual specialty to the Nighthawks creative team (photo, video, graphics, written).
• Have the freedom to work on a personal project throughout the season (portfolio builder, feature story, etc.).

Requirements

• Strong skills in photography and graphic design.
• Experience in video production and editing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
• Experience in sports communications or community relations.
