Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the position of Area Coordinator in the Department of University Housing. The Area Coordinator will serve as a full-time live-in professional who works directly with the Resident Success Team to create a supportive and engaging student environment that aligns with the goals and mission of University Housing. This role is crucial in coordinating and administering all aspects of a resident success program within an assigned area that accommodates between 600 to 1000 residents. In this position, Area Coordinators will be responsible for selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating a team of 16 to 21 student leaders. They will also take the lead on various departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing the residential experience for students. The Area Coordinator will play a vital role in fostering a sense of community among residents, addressing their needs, and ensuring that the housing environment is conducive to academic success and personal growth.
