About the position

The Temporary Medical Site Assistant Director (AD) at Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) is responsible for overseeing clinical site operations and supervising clinical and operational staff during the absence of the regular Site Assistant Director. This role supports the mission of MCHCC by ensuring quality patient care and effective site operations, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical site operations and supervise clinical and operational staff.
  • Foster a culture of high trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement at the site.
  • Collaborate with site leads and staff to ensure safe, quality patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and timely with staff, acting as a bridge from senior leadership to site staff.
  • Hire, supervise, and review staff performance in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Facilitate regular meetings of clinical staff to address clinical care coordination issues.
  • Oversee scheduling of clinical staff to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Monitor reports and initiate improvements to workflows and protocols.
  • Oversee ordering of pharmaceuticals, equipment, and vaccines for site operations.
  • Address risk incident reports and coordinate patient dismissals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health administration, business administration, nursing, public health, or public administration.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Clinical training strongly preferred, particularly RN.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work in a high-stress environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Motivational Interviewing training preferred; training supported.
  • Trauma Informed Care training preferred; training supported.
