About the position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position is a hybrid role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a hospice home care setting. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing (DON) both in the office and through necessary patient visits. This role requires recent experience in home hospice care and management experience is preferred. Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing hospice home care operations.
• Conduct patient visits as necessary to ensure quality care.
• Oversee clinical staff and assist in patient observation and care planning.
• Maintain electronic charting and documentation of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Missouri.
• Recent experience in a home hospice setting.
• Management experience is a plus.
• CPR certification is required.
• Willingness to work full-time hours.
