About the position
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at St. Clare-Newport is responsible for overseeing nursing services in a 50-bed skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on staff education, infection control, and quality improvement efforts, ensuring high standards of care in long-term nursing services. The ADON will work closely with the nursing team to enhance patient care and maintain compliance with health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with staff education and training

Requirements
- Valid RN License in Rhode Island
- CPR Certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Long Term Care
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Working knowledge of epidemiology and microbiology
