About the position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at The Greens at Pinehurst is a full-time role focused on providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team. The ADON will coordinate the RAI process and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining high standards of nursing care. This position requires a compassionate and energetic RN who can effectively manage nursing operations and support staff development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department.
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel.
• Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling regular in-service training classes.
• Ensure nursing personnel have valid and current licenses, certifications, and training as required by the state.
• Coordinate the RAI process, ensuring the timeliness and completeness of the MDS, CAA's, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Monitor and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner.
• Supervise the inputting of MDS assessments and the transmission to the state, obtaining receipt of validation.
• Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences.
• Facilitate monthly QM meetings.
• Manage the Care Planning Process.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in the overall operation of the department.

Requirements

• Current RN license required (preferred).
• Experience in Long-Term Care settings.
• 1 year of experience in leadership/nursing administration.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
• Flexible hours required.
