About the position

The Assistant Director of Nursing at Ludlowe Center for Health & Rehabilitation plays a crucial role in enhancing care standards and resident well-being. This position involves overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in nursing care. The Assistant Director works closely with the Director of Nursing to achieve clinical program objectives and assumes the Director's responsibilities in their absence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident care.
  • Serve as operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.
  • Participate in quality assurance monitoring and ensure compliance to regulatory standards.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery.
  • Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
