About the position

Mehr Consultancy is a rapidly growing hotel management firm based in Bakersfield, CA, seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to join our team in Dallas, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive pay starting from $25 an hour and is designed for motivated individuals looking to grow within a dynamic environment. The Assistant Director of Operations will play a crucial role in supporting our Directors of Operations in overseeing our hotel portfolio. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that our General Managers (GMs) are effectively managing their properties and adhering to our established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in with GMs regularly, providing assistance where needed, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Key tasks will include auditing hotel payroll, reviewing housekeeping boards, and monitoring online travel agency (OTA) and Medallia reviews to maintain high service quality. While we will provide the necessary training for all responsibilities, candidates must have previous experience in the hotel industry, particularly in front office roles such as front desk, Assistant General Manager (AGM), sales, or General Manager (GM). This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills. The Assistant Director of Operations will also be expected to demonstrate excellent time management abilities, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position, as the candidate will be interacting with various stakeholders within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements
