About the position

This position is primarily responsible for managing the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and implementing necessary regulatory changes. The role involves frequent communication with students regarding SAP appeals, managing professional judgment processing, and advising students and parents on financial aid matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) program and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Correspond frequently with students regarding SAP appeals and outcomes, including appeal preparation and chairing the appeal committee.
• Direct professional judgment processing, including adjustments to Costs of Attendance, Dependency Appeals, and Change of Income process.
• Analyze payroll and tax documentation, perform need analysis calculations, and process ISIR corrections.
• Advise students and parents on financial aid and scholarship matters, including types of aid, affordability, costs, and repayment.
• Present at recruitment events and university classes to represent the office to prospective students and families.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field conferred by start date.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in banking, education, accounting, or customer service/program management.
