About the position

The Assistant Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business plays a crucial role in the MBA and Master enrollment team. This position focuses on developing and executing recruitment strategies, evaluating applications, and engaging with prospective students to promote Booth's Master programs and Chicago Booth Scholars pathways. The role involves leading information sessions, coordinating yield activities, and collaborating with current students and alumni to enhance recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual recruiting strategy in collaboration with the Associate Director.
  • Lead information sessions and webinars, and counsel prospective applicants.
  • Support the application review committee by evaluating applications and providing input on admissions decisions.
  • Plan and conduct recruiting outreach, including in-person and virtual opportunities.
  • Host webinars, information sessions, and college visits as part of recruitment activities.
  • Coordinate yield activities and communication to admitted students.
  • Engage with undergraduate students globally to promote MBA and Master program opportunities.
  • Assist with operations for the Master program and deferred admissions pathways.
  • Collaborate with admissions marketing and operations teams for pipeline development efforts.
  • Recruit and evaluate applicants through interviews and application reviews.
  • Participate in special projects such as developing marketing materials and monitoring budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of work experience in higher education, recruitment, sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Proficient in using Technolutions Slate as an application management system.
