Perini Management Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Division Controller (Construction) to join our office in Framingham, MA. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded. The Assistant Division Controller will perform monthly general ledger account reviews and reconciliations, and assist the Division Controller in overseeing the administrative, financial, and accounting functions of both domestic and overseas operations. This position requires active participation in the development of both long and short-range plans for the division, as well as reporting to the Corporate Treasury Group and Division stakeholders. In this role, you will prepare complex balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports for foreign branches and the US entity on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will assist with the monthly Work In Progress (WIP) revenue recognition process and perform monthly General Ledger account reviews and reconciliations. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and entering accounts receivable entries, recurring journal entries, depreciation entries, cash transfer entries, accrual entries, reclass entries, and foreign and domestic petty cash account reconciliations. You will also prepare State/Country specific tax filings for various states and countries with the help of foreign tax experts, and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash reporting for Corporate Treasury. The Assistant Division Controller will set up new jobs, cost codes, and budgets, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for Operations and/or Estimating as needed. You will assist with internal and external audits, the preparation of the annual budget forecast, and quarterly revised forecasts. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration, as you will perform other duties as assigned by the Division Controller or Senior Management. This is a 100% onsite role, emphasizing the importance of being present in the office to effectively manage the financial operations of the division.
