About the position

TBNR (The Best Never Rest) is a leading YouTube Production Company that manages the popular YouTube channels and digital media brands of Preston, Brianna Arsement, and others. With over 60 million subscribers and 18 billion lifetime views, TBNR Productions is at the forefront of digital content creation. We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the PrestonReacts YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for reaction content, a solid background in video editing, and a deep understanding of the YouTube platform. As an Assistant Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished final products that meet the high standards set by our Post Production Leadership Team. Your role will involve cutting and trimming reaction content to enhance its entertainment value, ensuring that the funniest and most epic moments are highlighted. You will also be tasked with creating fresh and engaging content that not only attracts and retains viewers but also captures the attention of new audiences. Staying current with YouTube and internet culture, including trends, memes, and pop culture references, is essential to resonate with our audience. In this fast-paced environment, you will need to manage your time efficiently to meet tight production deadlines while maintaining TBNR's quality and creative standards. You will adapt your editing style to align with the channel's unique standards and target audience. Proficiency in After Effects and Photoshop will be necessary to create and enhance video assets. Collaboration with the Post Production Supervisor will be key to reviewing and implementing quality control notes, ensuring that all content meets our high expectations. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in video editing but also embodies a positive disposition, is eager to learn, and is willing to ask questions and spark change within themselves and the company. Responsibilities

• Turn raw video footage into a polished final product that meets the standards of our Post Production Leadership Team.
• Cut and trim reaction content to enhance its entertainment value, highlighting the funniest and most epic moments.
• Create fresh and engaging content that attracts and retains viewers while also grabbing the attention of new audiences.
• Stay up-to-date with YouTube and internet culture, including trends, memes, graphics, and pop culture references.
• Learn and implement TBNR's best editing practices and methods to ensure high-quality content delivery.
• Edit a Rough Cut of a Video within the first day of receiving it to meet tight production deadlines.
• Manage your time efficiently to deliver content on schedule and according to TBNR's quality and creative standards.
• Adapt your editing style to suit the channel's unique standard and target audience.
• Use knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop to create and improve video assets.
• Collaborate with the Post Production Supervisor to review and implement all QC notes.
• Maintain strong working relationships with team members and department leaders.

Requirements

• Knowledge of memes and internet culture.
• An engaging sense of humor.
• Basic knowledge of YouTube.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise and efficiency in Adobe CC, with Premiere as the NLE of choice.
• Experience with Photoshop and/or After Effects.
