About the position

We are seeking an entry-level Post-Prep Technician to join a dynamic post-production team. This role is crucial for quality-checking and preparing video content for streaming, making it ideal for detail-oriented individuals with a background in post-production or media coordination. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and requires flexibility to accommodate project demands, including occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control (QC) screening for video and audio content, ensuring specifications are met before publication.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud, AirTable, and Frame.io to prep, validate, and archive media assets.
• Communicate quality issues with internal teams and vendors to maintain content standards.
• Organize downloadable links for asset sharing, manage file movements, and handle content prep for workflows.
• Document technical and compliance issues accurately and report them to stakeholders.
• Assist in developing workflow efficiencies, including adapting to new QC automation processes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in post-production, media coordination, or similar field.
• Knowledge of video/audio codecs, file formats, resolutions, and ability to read audio/video scopes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Premiere).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and efficient task management.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule and accommodate nights/weekends as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with AirTable and Frame.io is a plus.
