The Assistant Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting project teams to develop world-class designs for a diverse range of projects, including power, process, corporate, healthcare, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government, and military facilities. This position involves collaboration with the project team throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring that electrical plans are adapted to meet budget constraints, design factors, and client needs. The Assistant Electrical Engineer will assist in the electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through to design completion, contributing to the successful execution of various engineering projects. In this role, the Assistant Electrical Engineer will be responsible for modifying and reviewing production drawings for a variety of projects, which may include power plants, process facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, and governmental and military facilities. The engineer will assist in designing electrical components that align with project requirements set forth by project managers. A fundamental understanding of commonly used electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry is essential. The Assistant Electrical Engineer will also assist with research and compile project-related data as required by project managers. This includes correcting and updating drawings provided by senior engineers to ensure accuracy within multiple CAD-related software. Additionally, the engineer will support client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration for the design of various facilities. Field inspections, measurements, and calculations for public and private clients will also be part of the responsibilities, along with performing other duties as assigned and complying with all company policies and standards.
