The City of Pasadena is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Electrical Engineer. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the engineering department by assisting in the design, development, and implementation of electrical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and city staff. The Assistant Electrical Engineer will be responsible for conducting technical studies, preparing engineering reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In this position, the Assistant Electrical Engineer will also be involved in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from public infrastructure improvements to energy efficiency initiatives.
