About The Position

The Assistant Event Planner at See Em Play, Inc. is responsible for supporting the store manager in organizing and executing children's events, particularly birthday parties. Requirements

  • Comfortable working around children.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Texas Food Handler Certificate by the first week of employment.
  • Ability to work without supervision and stay on task.
  • Must be able to comfortably navigate through children's soft-play structure, which includes climbing, crawling, and low ceilings.
  • Must be able to properly lift and carry 30lbs.
  • Must have own transportation to work.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not necessary.
  • Interest in party/event planning or general project management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain facility cleanliness standards.
  • Follow up with customers via phone and email to confirm party bookings and customizations.
  • Keep detailed and organized party notes.
  • Support party preparation by decorating and arranging resources for parties (food, staffing, activities).
  • Check-in kids and parents for parties and open play.
  • Run children's parties with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Facilitate activities such as arts/crafts, games, and story time.
  • Dress up in costumes or theme-specific clothing as needed.
