About the position

We are currently seeking an Assistant Executive Chef to join our dynamic team at a resort with multiple dining outlets. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day culinary operations and ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction are maintained. As the Assistant Executive Chef, you will report directly to the Executive Chef and play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of new menu offerings, promotions, and events. You will collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage team to achieve financial goals and implement effective cost control measures. This position also involves providing leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence in culinary practices. In this role, you will be expected to maintain a high level of culinary standards while also being adaptable to the fast-paced environment of a resort with six or more restaurants. Your experience in managing multiple outlets will be essential as you work to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality, and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience with resorts and managing multiple outlets with six or more restaurants.
  • Certification as an Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a resort setting with multiple outlets.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
