About the position

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Drury Hotels, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our guests expect. Under the general supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, you will assist in various functions within the housekeeping and laundry areas of the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that exceptional service levels are maintained, contributing to guest and team member satisfaction. You will oversee the cleanliness of guest rooms, laundry, public areas, meeting spaces, department storage areas, and work areas, ensuring that all areas meet Drury's quality expectations. In this role, you will be expected to maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times. You will lead the housekeeping team to achieve quality and cleanliness standards, utilizing your thorough knowledge of cleaning methods and the operation of laundry services. You will also be responsible for the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and the operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and commercial washers and dryers. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that the team works collaboratively to exceed company quality expectations. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper with various functions in the housekeeping and laundry areas of the hotel.
  • Maintain exceptional service levels through guest and team member satisfaction.
  • Ensure high levels of quality are maintained in guest rooms, laundry, public areas, meeting spaces, and work areas.
  • Lead the Housekeeping team to achieve quality, cleanliness, and Drury standards.
  • Utilize thorough knowledge of cleaning methods and operation of laundry services.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of methods of cleaning guest rooms and operation of laundry services.
