About the position

The Assistant Executive Steward at Hilton Atlanta and Towers is responsible for leading the stewarding team alongside the Executive Steward. This role involves managing stewarding operations to ensure that food and beverage outlets are well-supplied and that sanitation standards are upheld, contributing to outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of all stewarding operations including inventory management and sanitation standards.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Maintain and secure food service equipment, ensuring it is functional.
  • Oversee inventory control and distribution of china, glassware, linen, and silver.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, and evaluations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading a stewarding department.
  • Strong organizational skills and a passion for excellence.
  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain sanitation standards.
  • Experience in budget management and forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a larger property operation.
  • Knowledge of health inspections and safety initiatives.
