About the position

NOVONIX is a leading battery technology company revolutionizing the global lithium-ion battery industry with innovative, sustainable technologies, high-performance materials, and more efficient production methods. The company manufactures industry-leading battery cell testing equipment, is growing its high-performance synthetic graphite anode material manufacturing operations, and has developed an all-dry, zero-waste cathode synthesis process. Through advanced R&D capabilities, proprietary technology, and strategic partnerships, NOVONIX has gained a prominent position in the electric vehicle and energy storage systems battery industry and is powering a cleaner energy future. This position is working fully onsite at our Riverside-Chattanooga facility with some occasional travel over to our Lookout Valley-Chattanooga facility.

Responsibilities

  • Calendar management
  • Travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and logistical planning for events
  • Manage, organize, and upload content to SharePoint Intranet
  • Coordinate on-site aspects of Board Meetings when held locally in Chattanooga
  • Organize townhall meetings and prepare materials for guest speakers
  • Capture meeting minutes and actions for NOVONIX Anode Materials (NAM) leadership team and follow up on tasks to keep projects moving forward
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and discretion
  • Welcome and sign-in guests and visitors at the Riverside-Chattanooga facility (also occasionally at our Lookout Valley-Chattanooga facility)
  • Assist with ongoing projects as assigned - balancing short and long-term deadlines
  • Create and develop visual presentations using Microsoft tools, proofread decks, etc.
  • Oversee special program initiatives, as needed
  • Prepare invoices, reports, etc., as needed
  • Collaborate with the Logistics team for on-site supplies inventory
  • Plan and manage social events related to internal and external stakeholders
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • Five (5+) years' professional experience in administrative support role(s)
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to anticipate needs, find alternative solutions, and be proactive in achieving desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities, including the ability to learn and grasp new concepts or domain expertise
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and resourceful
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with C-Suite Executives
  • Experience using Microsoft 365
  • Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and to demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work independently and to effectively function as a member of a team
  • Organizational and time management skills - ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
