About the position

The Assistant Facility Manager for DOT Shuttle Operations at SP Plus Corporation is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of shuttle services, ensuring high levels of client and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising shuttle drivers, managing operational reports, and implementing effective revenue control procedures while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
  • Supervise shuttle drivers, parkers, and the monitoring of shuttle bus operations.
  • Ensure appropriate customer interaction.
  • Supervise the completion of all closing reports.
  • Monitor and implement effective revenue control procedures.
  • Perform other necessary functions as assigned.
  • Assist with the daily data entry of the revenue reports.
  • Compile and interpret reports on a daily basis for the operation of the facility.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate; some college is a plus.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience required, preferably in the transportation and/or parking industry.
  • Prior supervisory experience managing DOT-regulated shuttle operations preferred.
  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement as required by location.
  • DOT Medical Card is required.
  • Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of transportation (shuttle operations), DOT regulations, union contracts, and payroll strongly desired.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills.
