About the position

The Assistant Facility Manager at SP+ plays a crucial role in the day-to-day management of parking operations at the assigned location. This position focuses on ensuring operations are conducted within contractual guidelines while fostering positive client relations and maintaining a professional image. The role involves supervising staff, managing customer interactions, and assisting with financial and operational goals to enhance client and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of parking operations at the assigned location.
  • Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in the development of property level financial and operational goals.
  • Supervise frontline staff including cashiers, valet attendants, and maintenance porters.
  • Prepare month-end reports and audit daily cashier shift reports.
  • Monitor and check time cards, hire and train frontline staff, and review damage claims.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks.
  • Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, etc.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the garage areas and major streets in the vicinity.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • Minimum of six months of parking experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and deal with unexpected events.
  • Exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
