About the position

The Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance and repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors. This role ensures timely and quality service delivery to clients, manages vendor relationships, and assists in budget preparation while maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Respond to client inquiries and complaints.
• Ensure timely and quality service delivery to clients.
• Follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform facilities inspections and prepare reports.
• Coordinate and manage move, add, and change activities.
• Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and train vendors on work order and billing procedures.
• Process invoices and ensure proper cost center coding.
• Review periodic reports including financials and explain variances.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in facilities management.
• 3 years of experience with work order systems.
