- Manage feed and silage management and harvest processes.
- Oversee animal health and reproduction, including maternity and youngstock departments.
- Establish and implement farm protocols to ensure operational efficiency.
- Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Hire, train, motivate, and discipline farm staff as necessary.
- Collect and analyze daily and monthly data to evaluate operations.
Requirements
- Two years of livestock farm management experience.
- Experience with herd health and herd management.
- Ability to operate and repair agricultural equipment.
- Experience in managing farm workers.
