About the position

EōS Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven leader to take on the role of Assistant Fitness Manager (Personal Training Sales). This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fitness and have a strong inclination towards sales. The Assistant Fitness Manager will spend significant time on the gym floor, engaging with members, setting appointments, and building relationships while selling training packages. Additionally, this role involves developing a team of personal trainers to achieve similar sales goals. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to help others reach their health and wellness objectives. The Assistant Fitness Manager will assess the needs of members to formulate and recommend customized fitness programs and services. This role requires taking ownership of the member experience and business objectives, particularly during weekends, in preparation for managing their own club in the future. The core purpose of this position is to create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. Key accountabilities include achieving sales targets for personal training and small group sessions, developing personal trainers through monthly coaching plans, and serving as an information hub for product knowledge, programs, and events. Other responsibilities encompass delivering exceptional customer service, assisting the Fitness Manager and Lead Trainer in onboarding and developing personal trainers, ensuring club cleanliness, onboarding new members, collaborating with the membership sales team, and maintaining building and equipment safety.

Responsibilities

  • Sales (PT and Small Group)
  • Achieve all daily targets for AFM shifts when FM is not present (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Development of PTs through monthly Coaching Plans
  • Serve as an information hub for product knowledge, programs, and events
  • Deliver great customer service
  • Assist FM and Lead Trainer in the onboarding and developing of PTs
  • Ensure club cleanliness
  • Onboard new members
  • Collaborate with membership sales
  • Maintain building and equipment safety

Requirements

  • Must have valid Personal Trainer certification
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
  • 1 year of leadership experience (preferred)
  • 1 year of fitness experience (preferred)
  • 2 years of sales experience (preferred)
  • Must successfully pass a background check
