Assistant Fitness Studio Manager

About the position

The Assistant Studio Manager at Basecamp Fitness will play a crucial role in leading a dynamic team within a new fitness studio in Schererville, IN. This position focuses on managing daily operations, enhancing member experiences, and driving membership growth through effective leadership and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness and committed to transforming lives while ensuring the studio runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Studio Manager in organizing, planning, and implementing membership strategy.
• Leading daily shift operations including shift huddles and on-the-spot coaching for ambassadors.
• Managing client and staff concerns throughout the course of a shift.
• Ensuring proper execution and consistency of all front desk systems and operating procedures.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-stocked facility at all times.
• Promoting retail products and educating members on the benefits of products available in the studio.
• Meeting studio EFT revenue targets by building new membership dues through personal selling and lead generation.
• Completing Daily Shift Reports and maintaining accurate notes in the studio's CRM system.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service or Retail experience required.
• Sales experience highly preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic fitness acumen and enthusiasm for health and fitness.
