About the position
As the Assistant Floral Manager at The Fresh Market, you will lead the daily operations of the Floral and Gift department, ensuring efficient management of inventory, pricing integrity, and training processes. This role is fast-paced and requires a commitment to excellence in delivering an exceptional experience for both guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the ordering of floral and gift items with the Produce-Floral Manager
- Greeting guests and proactively assisting them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely information
- Making recommendations and accommodating requests
- Managing order guides, ordering deadlines, and reducing shrink and damage
- Properly receiving and stocking goods that follow rotation standards when replenishing product levels
- Engaging, motivating, coaching, and training team members on-the-job and through The Fresh Market's internal training platform
Requirements
- 3 plus years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field
- 1 plus years of leadership experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be at least 18 years of age
