About the position

The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk at Hilton BNA Nashville. This position is focused on ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining efficient front office operations, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of the front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest concerns and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about hotel services, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance guest experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Assist with night audit duties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of room inventory, reservations, and financial transactions.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Assist in managing room availability and rates to maximize occupancy.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of phone systems, hotel management software, and front desk procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
