About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Abe Martin Lodge plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in daily operations, leading various departments, and enhancing the hotel's reputation. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Lead and direct multiple departments
  • Work with supervisors to ensure adherence to policies and goals
  • Review daily business reports for accuracy and approval
  • Review Accounts Payable for accuracy and compliance with budget
  • Review and process payroll and assist in HR responsibilities
  • Provide training to staff
  • Adhere to all franchise and company procedures and regulations
  • Receive and resolve guest complaints and service recovery processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to quickly analyze problems and find solutions
  • Exceptional math and coaching skills
  • Ability to supervise employees
  • Effective communication skills with coworkers and guests
