About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at PF Changs in the Detroit Airport Paradies Dining Division is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of guest service, and maintaining a professional restaurant image. This role involves managing a team, driving sales and profitability, and creating a positive work environment while adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, food quality, and presentation standards.
• Be a visible presence for team members, guests, and airport partners.
• Monitor team performance and operational systems, making necessary adjustments.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas and resolve complaints within 24 hours.
• Drive top line sales and profitability.
• Adapt to fast-moving circumstances and utilize problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Obtain and maintain current ServSafe Food Manager's Certification within six months of hire/promotion.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, and walking long distances.
• Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable, or a combination of practical experience and education.
• Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, and recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office, and mathematics.
