About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Taco Bell is responsible for leading shifts, managing operations, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in various administrative and operational tasks, while also providing leadership to team members. The AGM plays a crucial role in training staff, analyzing performance metrics, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Run organized shifts and execute all administrative duties.
  • Provide leadership and direction when the RGM is not available.
  • Analyze and respond to operation and financial metrics.
  • Assist the RGM in training team members.
  • Assist the RGM in scheduling facility maintenance needs.
  • Manage any conflict regarding customers and/or employees.

Requirements

  • Experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in roles such as Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar positions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial metrics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience at establishments like Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, McDonald's, Canes, or Wendy's.
  • Background in hospitality management.
