About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Prep & Pastry is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. This role requires a high-energy individual who can manage various aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, budgeting, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to maintain high standards of service and culinary excellence while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall operations under the guidance of the General Manager.
  • Handle purchasing, inventory control, budgeting, and maintaining costs.
  • Control labor, scheduling, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure service and culinary excellence.
  • Guarantee an excellent guest experience.
  • Oversee excellence in the Bar Program.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.
  • Strong stress management and composure skills.
  • Proven leadership and time management skills.
  • Expertise in proper food handling techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
